MEET LINDA

There is something about the bits on the forest floor, left by Nature, that speak to me. The pinecones, sticks, feathers, seed pods and shards of bark all have their story and their history. They draw me in, asking that I give them new life and celebrate them through my art. I suppose that working with beeswax and resin in encaustics is an extension of my fascination with the natural world.

I have referred to myself as a Renaissance woman because I love all things creative, not just my artwork. The act of working with my hands, mind, and heart, united in an internal artist’s community, is magical. My work reflects this and expresses a spiritual aspect.
